I enjoyed seeing the blog relating to the parent/child reading project. I feel that there is a missing link in schools between parent-to-parent. I think that will be an area I might continue to look at further for my 3d grade classroom.
Great presentation! I already have 2 blogs set up through Wordpress. However, I am going to have my 3rd grade students use Roxer.com to create their own websites about books they have read in and out of school as well as during literature circles. Thanks for the NEW idea!
Hello Ladies! I love the digital stories! I can't wait to try them.
Thank you for the well organized and informative presentation! My eighth grade students are currently doing digital stories and I had never thought to post them on Voicethread. I love the idea that they can do this and recieve feedback comments from their peers or teachers.

I think I will try a blog but am hesitant due to having to set up new g-mail accounts for an entire class.
Thanks for your presentation. I'm inspired to revisit the podcast project I began over a year ago.
Nice presentation ladies. I will utilize roxer.com with my 7th graders to serve as a final product for their class culminating country research project. The project has five parts; title page, table of contents, essay, images from the internet with coinciding text, and a works cited page. Instead of doing a traditional report, I will have them develop webpages in place of physical copies, this will give them some creative leeway while utilizing this technology.
I would love to have you continue this blog so that the people who attended the session can continue commenting on how they are using these applications after they return to their schools.
